Week 2 in Cumberland!

This week team Juan Diego had the immense pleasure of hosting a youth group from St. Richards and St. Joan of Arc Parishes in Ohio! This group arrived full of spirit, and there was no job too large or small that they weren’t willing to put forth 100% effort. We were able to serve several families and complete a long list of jobs with their service. The jobs completed include: Roofing, closing off a porch by boarding up the windows and adding siding to make it look nice, bagging trash and cleaning up around homes, cementing broken steps at the Church of the Resurrection, repairing doors, painting porches, painting stairs and floors, adding insulation, and cleaning out a basement. We had several teams leave daily to a worksite and be done with their task by lunch time! That opened up for more jobs and more time for bonding with the families. Every evening you could hear a different story about something amazing that happened on the worksite that day. It was a wonderful experience to see how the Lord blessed each individual so differently. This youth group was extremely spiritual and loved to serve in any way they could. It was a fruitful week!

Please continue to keep Team Juan Diego and Our Lady of Guadalupe in your prayers! As well as the youth groups traveling each week to serve our Lord!

God Bless,

Magdalena
