Catholic Mission Trips, Inc is a non-profit 501(c)3 equipping Catholics in the call to be missionary disciples. We offer short term foreign and domestic mission trips, for youth groups, college students, and families to serve the poor & rebuild communities in need.
We respond to the specific needs of communities both domestic and internationally, focusing on the Corporal Works of Mercy, including disaster relief, building projects for the poor, feeding the homeless, community outreach for the elderly and visiting orphaned children.
“As you did it to one of these, the least of my brethren, you did it to Me.” Matthew 25:40
Service trips awaken the hearts of participants as they give generously, gather for prayer, faith sharing, and spiritual formation talks given by mission leaders to inspire spiritual growth.
“It is Jesus who stirs in you the desire to do something great with your lives, the will to follow an ideal, the refusal to allow yourselves to be ground down by mediocrity, the courage to commit yourselves humbly and patiently to improving yourselves and society, making the world more human and more fraternal.” – Pope St. John Paul II, XV World Youth Day
Each mission trip is centered around the Eucharist to experience the love of God to set ablaze a renewed personal encounter with Christ through Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Confession, community life, and praise and worship.
“I invite all Christians, everywhere, at this very moment, to a renewed personal encounter with Jesus Christ.” – Pope Francis, Evangelii Gaudium
We live our mission in community, each day experiencing the joy of being together though recreation, games, teamwork, faith sharing, family meals, and being present to the people we serve.
“Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat.” – St. Mother Teresa, Cincinnati seminary speech
We give witness through our actions, speech, and prayer to the teachings of the Gospel and of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church.
“The love of Christ impels us.” ~2 Corinthians 5:14
Everything we do begins with the Holy Spirit’s inspiration, continues with His saving help, and through Him reaches completion.
“The Holy Spirit is indeed the principal agent of the whole of the Church’s mission.”- Pope St. John Paul II, Redemptoris Missio
