My name is Brittany Camacho, and my heart for service comes from my faith and the people God has placed in my life. I am a wife of 10 years and a proud auntie, and these roles have taught me what it means to love selflessly, to be patient, and to trust God in everyday life.
My Catholic faith is the anchor of my life. It has carried me through moments of joy, growth, and uncertainty, and it continues to shape who I am. Through prayer, the sacraments, and quiet trust in God’s plan, I have learned that He is always present and always guiding my steps.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Kingsville in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. I am currently pursuing a second master’s degree in Christian Ministry at Liberty University. For the past 12 years, I have served as a special education teacher, a role that has deeply humbled me. My students have shown me daily the beauty of God’s creation and the importance of meeting others with patience, compassion, and love.
Serving in youth ministry through my parish has been a true blessing. Being present with young people as they grow in their faith has strengthened my own relationship with Christ and confirmed my desire to serve the Church with my whole heart.
I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve as the Texas Site Coordinator. I see this role not simply as work, but as a calling. My prayer is that every young person I serve feels seen, loved, and welcomed, and that they come to know the peace and joy found in Christ. I humbly ask for your prayers for my family, for the youth we serve, and for all those involved in this ministry as we continue to walk together in faith and share God’s love with others.
