Hello! I am Clara Anderson, I am a Junior at Wyoming Catholic College(WCC). I am currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts. I grew up in Kansas and come from a family of eight in which I was number four of six kids. My favorite way to spend my time is in the wilderness, or as I like to call it, God’s first book, rock climbing, canoeing, rafting, backpacking, and ice climbing, among many other activities. You will always find me with a book in my hand or a frozen Coke. I served a full summer with CMT in 2024, and am excited to return to lead another mission in Puerto Rico!
Favorite Saint: Saint Joan of Arc & Saint Rose of Lima.
Favorite Scripture Verse: Gospel of John 8:7 & 8:10-11 “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.” & “Woman, where are they that accused thee? Hath no man condemned thee? Who said: No man, Lord. And Jesus said: Neither will I condemn thee.” This is my verse this year because it is a constant reminder that no person is without fault, and we should never dare to think of someone else as being below ourselves. Even God, who is infinitely above us, chose to forgive and love us over and over again. This passage reminds me that I am called to see Jesus in everyone and treat them with the love, respect, and kindness I would show to Jesus if He were standing before me.

“Some people give to the missions by going, others go to the missions by giving. Without both, there are no missions.”
