Housing
Housing in the Dominican Republic will be at a missionary guest housing in San Pedro de Macoris at the Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos home. The home is also run by religious sisters, Las Hijas de la Madre de Dios. Bunk beds, pillows, and sheets are provided. Guys and girls will have separate sleeping areas. The Catholic Mission Trips, Inc., staff will sleep separately from the group at all times.
Meals
Meals will be provided starting Monday evening when you arrive, until you depart the following Saturday. The only meals that are not included are your free day meals. Breakfasts are in the morning, lunches are at the work site, and dinners are always hot. Most meals consist of beans, rice, meat, and vegetables.
Work Projects
In the Dominican Republic, construction projects for Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos children’s school and locals in the surrounding villages.
Free Day Option
Each group has the option to use one of their days as a free day. Most groups plan on taking Friday as their free day. The first Catholic church in the western hemisphere is in Santo Domingo. NPH offers to plan this day for your group. Most groups go the cathedral, downtown lunch, and spend the rest of the day at the beach.
Weather
Pray for good weather. If we get rain, it’s possible that the outdoor projects will be cancelled for the day. Catholic Mission Trips, Inc., will try to arrange both outdoor and indoor projects for each group.

Travel
Our missionary housing is located in San Pedro de Macoris. CMT Staff will meet your group at the Santo Domingo (SDQ) Airport with transportation for your group. La Romana Airport -LRM and Punta Cana -PUJ are also close options.
