Hello, I’m Stephany. St. Catherine of Siena said, “Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.” Mission work was always placed in my heart, but I didn’t know how deeply it was rooted. I started mission work in 2017 as a junior in college with FOCUS, and in 2018 the Lord called me to serve with CMT, and I continue to do so to this day. I am so blessed that the Lord has also given me a husband who serves alongside me, whether our day-to-day or physically on mission. Stepping into the role as Missionary Coordinator has set this fire in my soul that I know only comes from God calling me deeper. I am so thankful and excited to be helping groups encounter Christ’s love on mission. I pray you will experience God’s love so deeply that you will want to do nothing more than become who he called you to be and live that radically.

God calls me to live as a missionary disciple and to help others answer God’s call to live authentic Catholic lives in a radical way. One lesson that I have learned through my many years serving as a missionary is that God always provides. His loving care is evident for all of the people we serve, as well as for the missionaries coming to serve. While we are pouring out our hearts in prayer and service, God is pouring His graces right back in, filling us up and overflowing. Serving on a mission trip with Catholic Mission Trips, Inc. gives young people the opportunity to experience their faith and encounter Christ in a new, life-changing way.
