Hey! My name is Toby O’Brien. I’m from central Florida and I’m studying at The Catholic University of America in Washington D.C. I come from a family of seven and love to travel. I love the outdoors and little spontaneous decisions. My current passion is taking the metro into the city with no plans and letting the Spirit direct me to literally wherever. I’ve had some pretty cool encounters with people and places this year, doing just that.

Additionally, I have a particular love for life on mission because of the impact that similar trips have had on my life. One of my first real encounters with the living God happened on mission and it has led to so many beautiful things. Among those are a deepening of my love for Christ in the Eucharist, more authentic relationships, and the joy that comes with living your faith. Since then, I’ve tried my best to share these things with others, especially the joy found in Christ.
