Gerann began serving with CMT in 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Religious and Values Education (with minors in Philosophy and Theology) and is currently completing his Master of Arts in Religious Education. Beyond his degree, he holds certifications in academic writing and digital marketing, and he also serves as a college instructor. Here at CMT, Gerann is invaluable in designing and developing “The Return from Emmaus Accompaniment Project.”

Steve serves as the President of the Board. His leadership, extensive mission trip experience, active faith life, and professional experience help CMT maintain its original vision of helping faithful Catholics fulfill their call to serve the poor.
Sr. Norma Pimentel, MJ, Member of the Board
Sister Norma Pimentel, MJ, is Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Rio Grande Valley, where she established the Humanitarian Respite Center in McAllen, Texas, welcoming over half a million immigrants. Known as the Pope’s favorite nun, she was named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in 2020 and a TIME Woman of the Year in 2026.
