Stacey is a native Mobilian and Catholic. She attended St. James Major School and W.P. Davidson High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management with a minor in Biology from Spring Hill College and a Master of Science degree in Legal Studies from Kaplan University. Her career included working for a regional Medicare Advantage company in Provider Relations, medical billing and coding instructor at Remington College, medical billing and coding consultant, then worked in healthcare compliance as a coding and documentation analyst.
In 2019, Stacey retired from the healthcare industry. Retirement for Stacey was short lived. She decided to pursue opportunities that were faith-based. She accepted a position with the Diocese of Pensacola-Tallahassee in the office of the vocations, seminarians, and the permanent diaconate. She worked with the diocese in an administrative support staff role where she was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the seminarians, formation aspirants and permanent deacons. Stacey also worked closely with Bishop Wack daily and served as back up administrative support for both Bishop Wack (affectionately known as Bishop Bill) and the Chief Operating Officer of the Diocese.
In April 2023, Stacey and her relocated back to Mobile. Her family is a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church-Maysville. Stacey is a mother to three adult children, and 12 grandchildren. Currently, Stacey works as the secretary and parish office manager at Prince of Peace Catholic Church where she brings a desire to serve God, work experience, skills, and a wealth of knowledge in the day-to-day operations of parish life and guidelines set by the Catholic Church and Canon Law.
