Hi, I’m Dani! I graduated from Benedictine College in 2021 and now am a Theology teacher and the Band and Choir director at Father McGivney Catholic High School, which means I get to do my two favorite things all day — play music and talk about God’s incredible Love and Mercy!! In the little free time I have every once in a while, you might find me painting, pulling weeds (it’s therapeutic), curating the perfect Spotify playlists (mostly filled with the Lumineers, Caamp, the National Parks, the 502s, and the like), or attempting new bread recipes (Jesus is the Bread of Life, but I do love me a good focaccia or sourdough).
I am beyond ecstatic to be joining this amazing team of missionaries this summer in service and stewardship of God’s Creation and to grow in deeper relationship with members of our beautiful universal Church, the Body of Christ.
Favorite Saints: St. Joseph and St. Thérèse of Lisieux
Favorite Saint quote: “It pleases Him to create great Saints, who may be compared with the lilies or the rose; but He has also created little ones, who must be content to be daisies or violets, nestling at His feet to delight His eyes when He should choose to look at them. The happier they are to be as He wills, the more perfect they are.” – St. Thérèse of Lisieux
Favorite Prayer: the Surrender Novena or St. Anthony’s “Be Satisfied with Me”
Favorite Scripture passage: Pretty much all of Luke 12. “Even the hairs of your head have been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth many sparrows… Notice how the flowers grow… If God so clothes the grass in the field that grows today and is thrown into the oven tomorrow, will not not much more provide for you, O you of little faith?”
